Clubs

Clubs are run by staff in their own time, so prompt collection from these is appreciated.  If parents are delayed please could you phone and let the school know.

Pupils are asked to sign up for the clubs of their choice on the club notice board in the main hall.  Registers will then be drawn up. If your child will not be able to attend a club could you or the child please inform the teacher concerned.

The clubs for the academic year 2008 - 2009 are as follows:

MONDAY
Computer Club for Form 3 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs Read.

Netball Club (September to February) for Forms 4, 5 & 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mrs Drake.

Go Ride (February to July) for Forms 4, 5 & 6

TUESDAY

Subbuteo (autumn and spring terms) for Forms 3 & 4 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Miss Green

WEDNESDAY
Football Club (autumn and spring terms) for Forms 4, 5 & 6 from 3.30pm – 4.15pm with Mr O'Flaherty

Please note: only on weeks when there are no fixtures

Soft Toy making (autumn & spring term) for Forms 5 & 6 with Mrs Odgers from 3.30pm to 4pm

Gardening Club (summer term) for Forms 3 & 4 with Mrs Odgers from 3.30pm to 4pm

Cricket Club (summer term) for Forms 3, 4, 5 & 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mr O'Flaherty

Orchestra for Forms 3 to 6 from 9am to 9.30am with Mr Carrington

Choir (dates issued to members) for Forms 2 to 6 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs Pearcey

* Ballet and Jazz clubs are provided for an additional charge by a private teacher.  Details of these activities are available from the school office.
